I’ve just watched the movie, “Thrive” and will watch it again tonight.

Our hat is off to Foster Gamble and Kimberly Carter Gamble  (of Proctor and Gamble) for investing their money into a message that is meant for the masses…meaning you and me…rather than investing in how to make more money off the masses…meaning you and me.

What is the main message in order for Thriving to occur? We need to WAKE UP!

Why do we need to wake up?

Because if we don’t, we will continue to lose even more precious Global resources for just a few to make profits, we will lose more natural rights for living a prosperous, vital life, and we will continue being boxed further into debt and unhealthy conditions while an elite few gain more possessions and wealth.

If we don’t wake up right now – domination, power and control of Our masses (that means you and me again) will further lock us onto a hamster wheel of mediocrity and passionless existence.

But “Thrive” isn’t another doomsday plot. Thank God! It is a cold slap that says “Guess what? This is happening and you Can Do something about it, but first you got to pay attention.

The creative force and money behind “Thrive” delivers well documented research for the many issues plaguing us today:

They have named the top dominating companies behind our issues so we can more easily make informed consumer decisions.

Mike Adams released an update on the continuing story of the Rawesome Food Raid in Venice CA.

This issue just makes me sad beyond words and it has taken me several days to write this post.

It also makes my first and most important job as a mother, extremely difficult to fulfill properly – that of keeping my children out of harms way and educating them on the multitude of health hazards ever present in our world.

Even if we are battling Brain Fog in the head, we can still see this is ridiculous. If it were true that raw food is dangerous to our health and we should not eat it, then how the hell did we get to the 21st Century time frame as a species? I honestly want to know because if this is true, we would all be dead already!

What makes me so mad is that my government is spending Millions of dollars to try and prove Raw food is dangerous and make criminals out of anyone associated with it.

At the EXACT same time, my government does not hold the industrialized food network and big agri industry responsible for the health implications tied to pesticides, artificial sweeteners, neuro toxic glutamates, etc that are allowed in our grocery stores and restaurants.

Cancer, diabetes, juvenile diabetes, heart disease, digestive disorders, auto immune disorders, chronic fatigue, skin disorders, brain fog, and a general lack of vitality is growing across the board for every single American…all of these health issues are dramatically increasing every single year.

Our government has one thing right, our food is killing us. They are unfortunately pointing the finger at the wrong farmer and food supply chain.

I had the opportunity to meet James Stewart, the owner of Rawesome Food, while meeting with the ANU mineral water formulators who are very close friends to him. He showed me around the Rawesome market – it was a members only farmers market where I was introduced to many foods I had no idea were available. He worked hard to provide Real food to folks like myself that know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the American fast/processed food industry is our #1 Health Hazard!

If our government system is willing to lock these folks up, it affects all of us. Every shopping member of the Rawesome market signed a release form stating “I am fully responsible and capable of making food shopping decisions for myself and choose to purchase raw foods.”… and the state of CA is saying, no I am not!

This is tyranny in action and it will not stop here if they succeed. It will affect us all, every single American is under attack. Please don’t wait until it is an issue that you care about to stand up and add your support. This is a pivotal moment and YOUR freedom is at risk as well.

These days the list of documentaries addressing the major health issues arising from eating processed foods is quite lengthy – this only scratches at the list… just pick one and begin your fact finding journey that will empower you to positively increase your health and vitality.

This last one is about our water resource and one of the most important films regarding the business agenda of supplying Joe Public, you and I, with what should be our human right to access, but not any longer.

This chart says it all, the American diet is killing us!

The most important thing to understand is – Everything we do affects our health, either positively or negatively.

Knowing what are the greatest offenses against our health is key. For most situations, you can use a sliding scale to help balance the ‘environment’ of your Bio-terrain.

1. For example, if you drink alcohol and/or soda daily, then remember you must Double the recommended amount of water to drink in a day.

2. By taking a probiotic just before bed, you are providing the healthy bacteria forms needed for proper digestion…just be sure you have an empty tummy.

3. If more than 20% of your diet is processed or fast foods, then you must exercise or use far infrared in order to flush the deep cells and keep the inorganic ingredients from sticking. (The use of ‘inorganic’ in this sentence means non-food, indigestible, artificial, modified, hydrogenated, etc.)

More ‘healthy choice’ examples:
Choose real sugar, real maple syrup (not Aunt Jemima!), raw honey or stevia – instead of artificial sweeteners, or corn syrup of any kind.

Choose organic fruits and veggies as much as possible, the nutritional value is much higher (a recent study showed that in the last 10 years fruits and veggies have lost about 15% of their nutrients) PLUS you have less exposure to harmful pesticides and herbicides.

Use coconut oil or olive oil instead of any other oil…there is a huge myth that must be addressed. Generally, we have been taught that saturated fats are bad, unsaturated fats are not.

Truth be told…coconut oil is one oil that helps the body maintain proper thyroid function and stimulates metabolism.

Farmers discovered back in the 50′s that they could not fatten up their animal stock if they fed them coconut oil!

Most of us will agree, 2011 has been another tough year for individuals and the country as a whole.

Let’s turn off the long winded political explanations of why we are in this mess; let’s silence the conspiracy theorists who love to point the finger of blame up the ladder of greed and industry and simply make a stand as self empowered individuals.

GO LOCAL and save our communities from continued economic disaster!

You know why I don’t shop at Walmart any longer? Because absolutely everything is produced in China or Taiwan, etc.
EVERYTHING. Not just some things…I know its hard to get away from this plight, but the suggestions below give some great ideas on how to take simple steps and make a difference that will lift all us out of this huge hole.

As the holidays approach, the giant Asian factories are kicking into high gear to provide Americans with monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods — merchandise that has been produced at the expense of American labor.

This year will be different.

This year Americans will give the gift of genuine concern for other Americans.

There is no longer an excuse that, at gift giving time, nothing can be found that is produced by American hands.

Yes there is!

It’s time to think outside the box, people. Who says a gift needs to fit in a shirt box, wrapped in Chinese produced wrapping paper?

Everyone — yes EVERYONE gets their hair cut. How about gift certificates from your local American hair salon or
barber?

Gym membership? It’s appropriate for all ages who are thinking about some health improvement.

Who wouldn’t appreciate getting their car detailed? Small, American owned detail shops and car washes would love to sell you a gift certificate or a book of gift certificates.

Are you one of those extravagant givers who think nothing of plunking down the Benjamins on a Chinese made flat-screen? Perhaps that grateful gift receiver would like his driveway sealed, or lawn mowed for the summer, or driveway plowed all winter, or games at the local golf course.

There are a bazillion owner-run restaurants — all offering gift certificates. And, if your intended isn’t the fancy eatery sort, what about a half dozen breakfasts at the local breakfast joint.

Remember, folks this isn’t about big National chains — this is about supporting your home town Americans with their financial lives on the line to keep their doors open.

How many people couldn’t use an oil change for their car, truck or motorcycle, done at a shop run by the American working guy?

Thinking about a heartfelt gift for mom? Mom would LOVE the services local cleaning lady for a day. My computer could use a tune-up, and I KNOW I can find some young guy who is struggling to get his repair business up and running.

OK, you were looking for something more personal. Local crafts people spin their own wool and knit them into scarves. They make jewelry, and pottery and beautiful wooden boxes.

Plan your holiday outings at local, owner operated restaurants and leave your server a nice tip. And, how about going out to see a play or ballet at your hometown theatre.

Musicians need love too, so find a venue showcasing local bands.

Honestly, people, do you REALLY need to buy another ten thousand Chinese lights for the house? When you buy a five dollar string of lights, about fifty cents stays in the community. If you have those kinds of bucks to burn, leave the
mailman, trash guy or babysitter a nice BIG tip.

You see, Christmas is no longer about draining American pockets so that China can build another glittering city. Christmas is now about caring about US, encouraging American small businesses to keep plugging away to follow their dreams. And, when we care about other Americans, we care about our communities, and the benefits come back to us in ways we couldn’t imagine.

May this be the new American Christmas tradition!!!

Some good friends of mine are part of the recent raw food raid that occurred in Venice Bch CA at the Rawesome Food Co-op.

If you read the headlines and don’t dig past the official statements by local and federal government agencies, you would believe the sale of raw milk is illegal in California but that is far from the truth.

At the top of this deceptive web of information is the Monsanto lobbyist, Michael Taylor, who now holds court as head of the FDA’s Food Safety Dept.

In court proceedings that are going on right now, the official statement from the FDA basically says individual Americans are dim wits and unable to decide for themselves what is safe to eat…according to them, we have no right to eat the way our ancestors did, instead, we continue to be force fed industrialized food from factories far, far away from our home lands.

This has become muddy waters of twisted information…when in truth, the safest milk is fresh from the cow or goat…in fact, once milk is homogenized and pasteurized it is poisonous. PERIOD.

Do your own research, and start here Raypeat.com, this man has extensive research on everything from milk to oils, and the good, bad, and ugly on the actual effects our industrialized food system is having on our health.

In short, we are being lied to by the very agencies that are meant to protect us.

Yes play, whether it is playing cards, a game of tag, throwing sticks for the dog, tell some jokes, invite friends over for dinner but tell them they have to dress out of character, or put on your favorite dance music and pretend to be a world famous choreographer or symphony conductor.

Another fun thing to do that we guarantee will make you feel better is to turn up the music while you are driving and sing at the Top Of Your Lungs…really belt it out like you are on stage and letting it all hang out.

An important aspect to this life saving strategy is to use your imagination, be creative and playful, do something different and light that has nothing to do with your job or any other daily chores.

We promise, you will soon notice that fun feeling, energizing and lifting your spirits.

When we feel better, we look better. When we feel better, others around us notice and will be affected too.
When we smile and laugh, it secretes chemicals in the brain that increase our feeling of well-being.

This is not an accidental by product of being human, it is an essential part of being human!
